Welcome to Temptations Food Court (Sakumono, Tema). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the menu-ordering service offered through it. By browsing the menu or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Who We Are
Temptations Food Court("we," "us," or "our") operates a food court in Sakumono, Tema, Ghana. Our website lets you browse our menu and submit an order for dine-in, pickup, or delivery. References to the "Service" mean this website and the ordering features it provides.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing the Service or submitting an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You may still order in person at the counter.
You must be capable of entering into a binding agreement to place an order. If you are ordering on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for the details you submit.
3. How Ordering Works
3.1 Placing an Order
You build your order by adding items from the menu to your cart and submitting it with your name, phone number, and email address (and, for delivery, a delivery address). Submitting an order is a request to buy; a contract is formed only when we accept and begin preparing it. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is unavailable, the details are incomplete, or we are unable to fulfil it.
3.2 Menu, Availability, and Prices
- Our menu and prices are shown on the website and are confirmed by the price displayed at the time you submit your order.
- All prices are in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and may change without notice; items may sell out or become temporarily unavailable.
- We make reasonable efforts to keep the menu accurate, but descriptions, images, and availability are for guidance and may vary.
3.3 Operating Hours
Orders can be submitted during our operating hours (9:00am – 10:30pm daily). Orders placed outside these hours are not accepted by the website.
3.4 Dine-in, Pickup & Delivery
- Dine-in: You may optionally provide a table number so we can bring your order to you.
- Pickup: Your order is prepared for collection at our counter.
- Delivery: We will call you to confirm the delivery fee and arrangements before dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by distance, traffic, and weather.
4. Payment
- No online payment is taken on this website. The order total shown covers food and drink only.
- For dine-in and pickup, you pay in person — we accept cash, Mobile Money, and card where available.
- For delivery, we will confirm the total (including any delivery fee) and share a Mobile Money number for payment when we call you.
- You are responsible for paying for the order you submit. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to change or cancel an order, please call us as soon as possible on 024 057 6290. Because food is prepared fresh, an order may already be in preparation and unable to be cancelled. If something is wrong with your order, contact us promptly and we will work with you in good faith to put it right. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under Ghanaian consumer-protection law, which always apply. Beyond those rights, any further goodwill refund or replacement is offered at our reasonable discretion.
6. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Our kitchen prepares a wide range of dishes and handles common allergens (including nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, and seafood), so cross-contamination can occur. We cannot guarantee any dish is free from a particular allergen.
If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, the safest way to discuss it is to call us before ordering. You may also add a short note to your order, but please share only what you are comfortable providing — health-related details are your choice to disclose, and any you include are used only to handle that order. You are responsible for making your needs clear to us.
7. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent order details;
- Submit orders you do not intend to pay for or collect, or place abusive or repeated nuisance orders;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the menu or submit orders.
We may refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
8. Intellectual Property
The content of this website — including our name, logo, text, graphics, and menu presentation — belongs to Temptations Food Court or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
9. Third-Party Services & Links
The Service relies on third-party providers to function — for example, to host our menu and order records and to send order confirmation emails. The website may also link to third-party sites (such as our social media pages or a map provider). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may suspend, withdraw, or change all or part of it without notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Ghanaian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data, or opportunity;
- We are not responsible for allergic reactions arising from allergies or dietary needs that were not disclosed to us;
- Our total liability in connection with any order will not exceed the amount paid (or payable) for that order.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We hope to resolve any concern quickly and informally, so please contact us first. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally:
- Mediation / Arbitration: it may be referred to mediation or arbitration in Tema, Ghana under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798); and
- Jurisdiction: the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not resolved by the above.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our service or legal requirements. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
